UPDATE, AS OF 05/01/2026

FINAL NOTICE:  I WILL CEASE ACCEPTING ALL NEW ORDERS ON

JULY 1, 2026.

         On that date, the website Shopping Cart system will close, although the website will remain open for informational purposes. I will also stop accepting telephone and email orders at that time. I will have suggestions of other parts sources that I can recommend to you thereafter.

         My first task in July will be to fill and ship all remaining orders as of July 1. Once that is completed, my second task will be to complete an inventory of all remaining parts to be included in the sale of the PARTS portion of this business. There are several individuals waiting for that inventory, the asking price for the Parts business, and other details of the sale. I anticipate all that to happen before the end of July.

         After the Parts business has been sold and moved to the new owner’s location, I can then turn my attention to the liquidation process of all other business inventory, the bulk of which I expect to transfer to an online auction house, yet to be determined.

         At the appropriate times, I will make known the new owner of the Parts business, and the auction house which I have chosen to use.

         That’s about it! I appreciate all the support and business you have sent my way over the past 40+ years ! It has been a pleasure for me, and I have truly enjoyed meeting and helping so many S-gaugers that I can call “FRIENDS”. I hope it’s not the end of our contacts, but…..the time has come !  THANK YOU ALL !

MEANWHILE----

a) Once again, I am out-of-stock of the new AF 45-degree Crossings (see left), but am awaiting a new shipment of them. When they arrive, I will post it here.

b) I have also added several new BOOKS dealing with AF Instructions and Maintenance, from Mike Korando.

  c) I am in the process of adding, or restocking, several new detail items from Model Tech Studios. Most of these are in the "FIGURES / PEOPLE" Category, and are fully painted). Photos are being added for nearly every item, as I progress.

  d) Have listed several Crown Models reefers (both scale and highrail). Photos are being added for nearly every item, as I progress.

  e) Have been listing additional SHS and Am Models cars and engines almost every evening, with many more yet to be listed....mostly SHS. Photos are being added for nearly every item, as I progress.

  f) Knuckle couplers are in very short supply. Right now, I only have new HOLE-ONLY versions. For SLOT-&-HOLE, I have to scrounge to supply used originals. We hope to see this shortage end by May.

 g) I have finally separated almost all the Sales Categories on the website into two separate categories----equipment vs parts.

  h)  MANY NIB structure kits being added to the KITS Category, along with photos of the finished items. Most have been unavailable for years.

Please note that in preparation for the sale of my business, ALL ( that’s 100% ! ) stored credit-card information was purged on January 1st. I no longer store any such information, even upon request. So if you call in an order from now on, please have your credit-card handy each time.

Port Lines has been in the "S" business since about 1985.

I have grown to the point that today, I believe I offer one of the largest varieties of AF repair and restoration supplies and parts available anywhere in the country!  QUALITY is foremost in my product line. I will not stock lesser-quality parts just because they are cheaper. I carry the best quality part available, even if it means a slightly higher price.

In addition to the AF parts segment of my business, I stock products from a large number of S suppliers and manufacturers.
